Hair cuts for the boys

I finally convinced Parker to get his hair cut, so we decided to get Bryce's hair trimmed up too. Unfortunate for Bryce, he doesn't have the thick hair his brother does. Unfortunate for Parker, he has such a pretty face that he is going to look like a girl unless his head is shaved, haha. Bryce was uneasy about this whole process, as he has only ever had his head shaved in our garage, so his awesome big brother went first to show him it was no big deal. Even so, Bryce was still not convinced, so he had to sit on my lap. Overall they did MUCH better than I expected!

PLEASE???

Can I please watch Bob the Builder???

Snow

Our ridiculous blizzard. It snowed from Saturday night through the wee hours of Monday morning, but thankfully the 60 degree weather the following weekend melted all the snow :) It was pretty, but 12" of snow is wayyyyyyy tooo much!

Christmas

It was a busy Christmas full of way too many gifts! We are so thankful to have such wonderful people in our lives.

Parker's Christmas Party

Today was party day at school, and I was one of five mom's in charge of putting it together. The boys have acted a fool at past parties, usually because the food isn't stuff they life, so they just run amuck. I made sure this party was all food they like : ) Between PB&J, Chick-Fil-A nuggets, fruit, ham biscuits, M&Ms, cheese puffs, and cake, all the kids were in Heaven! They had a gift exchange between the kids, which they enjoyed very much. We also had ornamnets they could make Christmas trees they could decorate. It was a fun time! The Christmas carols they sang at the beginning were the best part though. Bryce joined the rest of the kids, although he just stood there and looked at everyone! There was also a surprise visit from Santa, which of course was a big hit!

Christmas Town at Busch Gardens

Saturday we ventured on over to Busch Gardens to enjoy Christmas Town. It was cold, but the boys were excited :) They didn't ride too many rides, but were super excited to ride the sky buckets and see all the lights and the train that took us the whole way around the park while listening to Christmas Carols, admiring all the lights, watching it snow, and even seeing a few deer. After about 3 hours, the boys were frozen and we couldn't get to the car fast enough!

Let it snow!

It has snowed three times now. The first was a dusting, then Monday it snowed pretty good but it had rained so it didn't stick to the roads thankfully, and then it snowed hard for several hours today. The boys have loved every bit of it. They begged to go outside today, and since there was no wind, I bundled them up after lunch and we headed outside until they couldn't take it any longer! We ran around, made snowballs, ate some snow, drew in the snow, and raked the snow. It was so peaceful....
