Before and After.....

Last night Parker had an appointment to get his hair trimmed. On the way home from soccer he decided he wanted to cut it short, but he kept it a secret because he wanted to surprise daddy. I wasn't going to get it super short, but he told Nichole he was tired of it getting in his eyes. I am so proud of him for doing so well and making the decision to cut his hair short. It was really long and I love it, but he looks so handsome! He was watching Nichole cut, and as it got shorter and shorter, he kept saying, "I can see my ears mommy!" He is so excited about his new hair and has checked himself out in the mirror at least five times in the hour he has been awake!

Silly boys!

The Zoo

We haven't been to the zoo in awhile, and our pass is almost expired, so we joined Aunt Jennifer and the twins last Sunday morning. It was a beautiful day! They kids were so excited because there are lots of new animals, as they just finished the Trail of the Tiger exhibit. Unfortunately, the tigers weren't feeling very social, so we didn't see them, but we got to see Asiatic Bears, otters, orangutan, and another type of monkey whose formal name I cannot remember. They all laughed so hard watching them swing all over the place and watching the playful otters! To top it off, there were bounce houses you could jump in a for $1, so all the kids got to jump too!

Building with Daddy

Parker accompanied daddy to Lowe's the other night and came home with his own set of real tools and a birdhouse to build. He slept with his tools the first night and was absolutely thrilled to use real tools to help daddy build the birdhouse!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Bryce!!

Tomorrow is Bryce's birthday, but we celebrated with family and a few close friends over the weekend. The weather wasn't the best, but thankfully I have a WONDERFUL mother-in-law who let us take over her home because mine just cannot accomodate everyone! Bryce was so excited about his Bob the Builder party, his balloons, his amazing cookie cake, all his presents, and his brand new Power Wheels four-wheeler! It was a great time! Thanks to everyone for coming and celebrating our baby and for all the wonderful gifts!

Soccer

Parker absolutely refused to play in his first soccer game, so we thought the season was going to be a bust. Thankfully he decided to play his second game and did really well!
