Jack and the Beanstalk

Today at school was nursery rhyme day and the kids had to dress up as their favorite character. Parker insisted on Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk, and naturally I waited until last minute to figure out a costume. Mom got her hands on some 2T overalls and my wonderful neighbor, Betty, lengthened the straps for me with some extra fabric she had so he wouldn't have an extreme wedgie :) Grandma Toler found a cow figurine for him and Betty also made him a little sack for his beans. He was too cute. He sure fit the part of a poor boy who traded his cow for some magic beans....

Coffee!

We share our coffee every morning with Bryce...he begs for it! I guess he needs a little pick me up in the morning too :)

Like Father, Like Son...

Bunks beds

We bought the boys bunk beds! I am soooo not ready to take my Bryce out of his crib, so for now Parker has both beds in his room and has claimed the top bunk, of course! Bryce loves to climb the "steps", but hasn't figured out how to get back down yet. Maybe in another six months I'll be ready to get rid of the crib and try him in a big boy bed....

Parker's First Soccer Game

Man was it intense, haha! I don't think anyone on our team has played before, and the other team had at least three players who you could tell had played before. The other team had a hard time keeping their hands to themselves---Parker got pushed and someone pulled the shirt of another boy. Regardless, they blew us out of the water, but the kids didn't know the difference. Parker wasn't quite as aggressive as he is in practice, but he did score a goal :) He worked really hard at practice this week because he doesn't want anyone taking the ball from him anymore. I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow, although it may be a muddy one!

Time out

When Parker goes to time out, Bryce likes to keep him company.....too bad Parker wouldn't do the same for him!

Sharing yogurt

The treat of choice around here is Yoplait Whips chocolate yogurt, and Parker really doesn't like to share, but Bryce will bug him to death, so he eventually gives in....

Parker's first soccer practice

Last Wednesday was Parker's first soccer practice. He was sooo excited for it and couldn't wait to play! They were so cute. One more practice this week, then his first game on Saturday! Bryce really wanted to get in on the action too!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE! I should have never cut Bryce's hair!! I love him anyway, haha, but his hair was gorgeous....

Brotherly love...

Though they fight ridiculously, they sure do love each other!
