Busch Gardens!

The boys were soooo excited to go to Busch Gardens yesterday! It was the perfect day....nice and overcast so we didn't get toooo extremely hot. They rode lots of rides--I was actually surprised at how many things Bryce was able to ride, as long as we accompanied him. He even rode the roller coaster that was in the Sesame Street area---and giggled while riding it! Meanwhile, Parker screamed bloody murder! Parker was all about the sky buckets, but when we got in he freaked for a few seconds, and then was like, "i'm okay, I'm okay." There were several rides that they just stayed on and rode several times :) Bryce even napped for a bit in the stroller, and was good to go when he woke up :) Parker is already asking when we can go back! The best part is that Grandma and Pawpaw bought passes too, that way we can escape and ride a few coasters while they watch the kids :) Even though we had four adults, no one would ride the Griffon with me, so I went it alone :) The two 90-degree drops were nuts, but it was fun!!

Cowboy Parker

Grandma found daddy's old boots in the attic and Parker found daddy's straw hat in the garage.....he was out front helping daddy with yard work and riding his four-wheeler....everyone that drove by got a big kick out of him :) He is so adorable!

Soccer is over....

On Friday night Parker's soccer team had their end of the season party and all the kids got trophies :) Coach said something nice about all of them, and they were all soooo proud! Saturday morning was our last game, and we wrapped up the season by taking down the opposing team, haha.....

Bridgewater

We traveled to Bridgewater Saturday morning for a party at Jason and Whitney's house. The ride up was not fun with Parker asking every few minutes when we would be in Bridgewater. According to mom, that is called payback, haha. We all had such a good time. The kids had a blast between the blow up pool, the swing set, the sand box and the trampoline. The adults definitely enjoyed the trampoline as well! Pappy and Guy took Bryce down to the fairgrounds where they were having some kind of truck show, so Bryce got to see lots of cool stuff. Of course all the kids are fascinated by all the horse and buggies they saw as well. Bryce passed out early on Saturday evening because he skipped his nap, but the other kids were going stong until 10pm! I snuck into Harrisonburg for a few hours to meet up with my bestest, which was so nice! Sunday morning the kids were outside playing pretty early and then we took a little walk to the river and lets the kids throw rocks and get wet. After lunch we got on the road. Bryce was asleep before we got to the interstate and Parker was asleep soon after! It was a pretty quiet ride home :) All-in-all, it was a great weekend. Parker didn't want to come home!

Brodie and Tristan

Last Tuesday the Altman family moved to Las Vegas--very bittersweet! Parker's best bud Brodie came by to hang for a little while and say "bye". They definitely enjoy each other, and surely did not want the visit to end. Of course Bryce and Tristan don't really understand, but they had fun taking pictures :) Hopefully we see them again soon!

Soccer...

The look on his face says it all...he was not a big fan of this boy...he was fast and could work the ball pretty darn good!

Mother's Day Tea

For Mother's day, I was invited to a special tea party with Parker. It was so fun! They made us corsages, sang us a few songs, we ate some snacks, and they gave us adorable flower pots that they used their fingerprints and paint to make a flower on it. They were all so proud!

Strawberry picking

The boys had so much fun picking strawberries, though I think they are more in the field than we actually took home, haha! So yummy!

Grandma and Pappy's pool

We spent our first weekend at the pool and the kids had sooo much fun! It usually takes them the whole summer to really get into jumping in and really enjoying themselves, so I guess it's a good sign when they both will jump in and Parker will even go in alone without a floaty! Hopefully we will have Parker jumping off the diving board and swimming by the end of the summer :) Stupid me slacked on the sunscreen and got fried......

Brothers

Parker actually asked me to take a picture of him and Bryce.... Bryce definitely looks like the older brother, haha, look at how big his head is....

Doughnuts for breakfast!

Parker begged daddy the other morning for a chocolate doughnut, so of course he went to 7-11 and got the boys some. They sure did enjoy eating them!

And check out Parker's RIDICULOUS cowlick!
