Bryce gets a hair cut....

Ever since we shaved Bryce's hair last fall, I have wanted to grow it back out. So for the last year he has not had a hair cut. I love his hair long. Yes, it is high maintenance because after sleeping on it at night, it is a mess, but he has really pretty hair! It has been in the stage for awhile where it's in his eyes, but I have been trying to stick it out and let it grow. Plus, when you ask him (and Parker) if the want their hair cut, they will immediately tell you "NO!" Last night I caved and told Guy he could shave it. Bryce was a trooper and couldn't stop looking at himself in the mirror. He is adorable no matter what........

The Virginia Aquarium

Not too long ago, I ran across a great deal for a one-year pass to the Virginia Aquarium for $50--what a steal! We have been several times, but Parker is always on a mission and trying to rush everyone. While he was out of town, we gave Bryce the option of what he wanted to do Saturday morning --the zoo, the aquarium, the living museum etc., and he chose the aquarium. He had a ton of fun going through there at his own pace and having mommy and daddy follow him around. He was so adorable imitating everything daddy did.....every time Guy would kneel down to look at something, Bryce would try to sit in the exact same position :)

No more booster :(

Grandma and Pappy were nice enough to let Parker tag along on their trip to Bridgewater last weekend. Although I wanted to go, they were going to have a full house, and daddy has been recovering from his shoulder surgery, so I didn't want to leave him alone. Bryce thoroughly enjoyed his time along with mommy and daddy! He also decided that he no longer needs a booster seat at the dinner table. We hadn't eaten dinner at the table in about a week because Guy refinished the top of it at my request, so we had to let it dry. He refused to sit in his chair, pointing at the booster seat saying "no!" Our 2.5-year-old "baby" is growing up way toooooooo fast! Parker just gave up his booster seat not long before he turned 4!

The Aquarium with cousins

On one of Aunt Jennifer's days off, we packed the kisd up and went to the Virginia Aquarium in VB. The kids had a great time checking out all the animals and trying to touch the stingrays in the touch tank. Not surprisingly, Parker refused to be included in the picture taking!
