Sneak Peek of our Family Pictures

Yesterday our family ventured over to the Botanical Garden in Norfolk for Brandi Hunsicker to take a shot at photographing our family :) The boys started out much better than they ended, and did as well as could be expected for 2 1/2 and 4-year-old boys! By the end Parker was pretty much refusing everything...ugh! Brandi did great with the boys--you can tell she has two young boys very close in age to ours! We are sooooo excited to see the rest of our pictures, but click on the link for her blog to check out the sneak peek!

Parker is his name, Soccer is his game!

Another Saturday of Parker dominating on the field!!!! Last week he surprised us with a whopping 5 goals. This week he stepped it up and scored 6 goals, and came close at least two other times!!! This kid amazes me!!! He finally has his head in the game. We just may have the next David Beckham on our hands!! These are pictures of 4 of his 6 goals, and we CANNOT forget Bryce!

Parker and Kylie.....

On the way to school today, Parker mentioned wanting to have a play date with Kylie after school --they just had lunch and played together yesterday at Chick-Fil-A, but I told him I would ask her mom while they were in school. Miss Jennifer was up for it, so Jennifer, Kylie and Seth joined us for lunch and play time at our house. Parker and Kylie were cuddled up in this chairs telling us , "we are in loveeee!!!!" These kids are too cute!

Buzz Lightyear Wings....

Parker has been wanting these wings forever, and I went ahead and bought them the other day since he is going to be Buzz Lightyear for Halloween. He has only let Bryce try them on a few times, so yesterday while Parker was out with daddy, Bryce woke up from his nap and had his chance to play wihtout Parker hawking him. I haven't had the chance to snag a picture of Parker in them quite yet...

My new laundry room!

We knew that when we finally found a new home our cat Kiki, who had taken up residence in our laundry room, that we would redo the room. Kiki is now at Kristy's house and loving life....and I have a nice, clean laundry room! I don't have any before pictures, but it was white walls with some metal shelving above the washer and dryer and next to the door, and 30+ year old linoleum type flooring that was just gross. So anyway, we decided to keep the walls white, and got some light tan tiles, and a new white cabinet to hide all my stuff.....and I love it! Guy had never done tiles before, but he figured it out and it looks great.

Pumpkin Patch

On Wednesday, October 13th, Parker's preschool class took a trip to the Pumpkin Patch at Clarke Farm. They boys were soooooo excited!! Bryce couldn't stop jumping up and down yelling "pumpkin patch." It was a couldy, breezy day, which made it feel a lot more like fall :) We met his class there and they got to check out all the pumpkins, watch the goats playing/fighting, and play on the awesome hill of dirt before their tractor-drawn hayride to a field of strategically placed small pumpkins, haha. Of course they couldn't have been happier :) We hung around for a good while letting them play on the hill to get all their energy out!

Painting

Last Saturday morning after Parker's horrible trip to the dentist, daddy was working on the laundry room, and the boys decided it would be fun to paint the cardboard from our package of bottled water. We filled an old egg carton with paint and let them have at it......they had a blast! And yes, Parker is naked and Bryce is half-naked.....
